I'm a creator in many ways. I write code, architect technology, dabble in design, and a handful of other things. Most importantly, though, I'm dedicated to providing more accesible mental health resources and helping others.

Lost in Thought

Engineer, Designer, Marketing, Accounting, and Everything Else

  • Created Lost in Thought, an iOS and Android app dedicated to journaling and mental health.
  • Lost in Thought uses flutter for the frontend and a mixture of Google Cloud and Supabase for the backend.
  • On a mission to build a brand that makes mental health more accessible and help others through my app, physical products, merch, and more.

2022 — 2026

Northern Trust

Sr. Lead Enterprise Architect

Chicago, IL

  • Replaced legacy API auth with JWT-backed services, reverse proxies, and a centralized backend. Modernizing authentication without disrupting production.
  • Built and deployed an AI Agent with LangChain and OpenAI to assess projects for appropriate architecture, security, and compliance risks.
  • Presented ML and neural network research to 300+ engineers with live Python demos that turned research into patterns teams could ship.
  • Launched a Platform Guidance Program that rationalized the software footprint and gave teams a clearer path to build on fewer, stronger platforms.

Building cool things because I can and it stimulates my brain.

I create apps, websites, designs, write, read, and a whole lot of other things, because that is what life is all about. Are a lot of the photos on my website from my wedding day? Yes. And that is because that was the happiest I've ever been, I love my wife, and the photos are really good.
